Making a section of your vo stutter or skip.

Split the VO item where you want this to start. With playback stopped, press right arrow a couple of times, and press s to split the item here. Set ripple mode to track. Copy the item with the very small section of voiceover. Press control+left arrow to make sure this item is selected, and press control+shift+end to move to the end of the item Press control+v to paste. Now press control+right arrow and playback are you on the new very small section of voiceover? Press control+shift+end to move to the end of this item and paste again. Continue to move to end of the last small section item, and paste and then control+left arrow several times and play back the audio. How does this sound do you hear the studder, is it way to close together, nudge each of the new short items a couple nudges to the right to space things out a bit. Note that this is going to move the rest of your voiceover so you may have to realign/nudge the fx and bed over to the right some for the remainder of the imager.
