Using the chorus/hook of a song.
There are times where you want to use the chorus or hook of a song or songs within imaging. Make sure not to use to much of it, just half the chorus is fine you want the listener to recognize it but not be wanting to hear that song next in your stations playlist. You can use similar reverse reverb techniques as explained above at the beginning of the hook to fade it in and give it some sparkle. You can then use bouncing delay as long as it fits the beet as describe above to end out the hook. Make sure to add some compression to your hooks track and make sure volumes are very similar between songs. Is your station pitching up the playback of tracks to squeeze in more advertising? Please pitch up the hooks to by a few sense to match or perfect pitch listeners will be distracted, just saying.
Below is an example of a music hook. It has reverse reverb at the start, and bouncing delay at the end to assist in fading out.
